ORLO pays off part of water utility debt to Ukrainian side – SMM

The occupation administration of the ORLO [the occupied areas of Luhansk regions] transferred to the Ukrainian side a part of the funds in relation to its water utility debt to the Popasna water service company over previous years.
This is informed by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in its daily report - Ukrinform.
"At the bridge south of government-controlled Shchastia (20km north of Luhansk), the Mission monitored and facilitated a transfer of funds from non-government- to government-controlled areas," the report reads.
The transfer of these funds was reportedly carried out in relation to a water utility debt.
The SMM observers participated in a similar procedure on October 10, 2017.
