Russian-backed militants launched 16 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas in last day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. “The enemy violated ceasefire in ATO area 16 times over the past day. As a result of the enemy shelling, Ukrainian soldier were neither killed nor wounded,” the statement reads. In Luhansk direction, the tensest situation was observed in Svitlodarsk area, where Russian-backed militants opened fire from rockets on Ukrainian positions. Illegal armed formations used mortars, machine guns and grenade launchers to fire at Ukrainian positions near Travneve, Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk) and Lozove(13km west of Donetsk).
