One Ukrainian soldier killed near Avdiivka, another one wounded

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another one was wounded in hostilities in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson for ATO Oleksandr Motuzianyk said this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Unfortunately, one soldier died of wounds near Avdiivka. Another one was wounded near Luhanske, he was immediately evacuated,” Motuzianyk said.
He also added that Russian-backed militants violated the ceasefire 30 times using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. The Ukrainian Armed Forces returned fire 18 times using weapons not banned under the Minsk agreements.
