NewsRSSDefense Ministry spokesman becomes press secretary at Prosecutor General's Office
1 of December 2017 г.
Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) issues, leaves his post and begins to work as spokesman for the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
Lysenko wrote this on his Facebook page - Ukrinform. "Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has recently suggested that I move on to the second, internal and equally important front - to uphold the law and justice in the fight against crime, corruption and other manifestations of lawlessness as spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office. I agreed, and therefore announce the completion of a multi-year journey in the status of spokesman on ATO issues," he said. Lysenko noted that as ATO spokesman, "he did everything possible for the formation and development of a system for informing about Russia's aggression and military actions in the east of Ukraine": "I am convinced that the multi-budget false invader over these years failed to draw the situation in the information field in its favor. With the efforts of our small team, military, civilian colleagues-journalists, experts and active citizens, we gained uneasy victories with daily briefings, live broadcasts and professional explanations."
