New interim goals and targets on the European path of Ukraine will be defined at the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on November 24.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this during the solemn ceremony at the Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv on the occasion of renaming the Highly Mobile Airborne Troops to the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and establishing the Air Assault Troops Day, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. "The day after tomorrow I leave for the Eastern Partnership summit to define interim goals and targets on the European path. However, we all know the ultimate goal. It is the full membership in the most prestigious alliance of the world, the final return to the European home," Poroshenko said. The President stressed that the Association Agreement with the European Union and the road map of reforms would bring Ukrainians closer to this goal.
