Russian-backed militants launched 12 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas in last day.
This is reported by the ATO press center - Ukrinform. "Over the past day, illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire 12 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the enemy eight times. As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the statement reads. In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds outside Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) and Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In addition militants opened fire from anti-tank grenade launchers and weapons on infantry fighting vehicles on the outskirts of Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk). In Mariupol direction, ATO troops came under heavy machine gun fire near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk) and under grenade launcher fire near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed mercenaries launched attacks on Ukrainian positions in the area of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using 82mm mortars, automatic and anti-tank grenade launchers.
