Ukraine has not been using Russian gas for more than 600 days and there are already positive dynamics in domestic gas production.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a conference call on preparations for the upcoming heating season during a working visit to Mykolayiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. "We have been living without Russian gas for more than 600 days already. We carry out large-scale modernization of the energy system, increase our own gas production and already see the positive dynamics," the Head of Government said. As Groysman noted, there is a need not only to replace the imported gas but also to implement the energy-efficient measures to reduce the consumption of energy resources and improve the quality of services in the fuel and energy sector.
