 NewsRSSMilitants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 21 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO press center - Ukrinform. The tensest situation was observed in Luhansk direction, where Russian-backed militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and 82mm mortars to fire at Ukrainian strongholds near Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). ATO troops also came under heavy machine gun and grenade launcher fire outside Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk). In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations fired at Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), using heavy machine guns. Militants also used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms to shell Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In Mariupol direction, militants continued to shell Ukrainian positions in Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).
