EU finally ratifies Association Agreement with Ukraine

The European Union has finalized the procedure for ratifying the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
This decision was approved by the Council of the European Union on Tuesday, Ukrinform's correspondent in Brussels reported.
"This is the final step of the ratification process through which the EU and Ukraine commit to a close, long-term relationship in all main policy areas. It will allow the full implementation of the agreement as of September 1, 2017," the EU said.
As reported, EU leaders will consider the issue of completing the ratification and further implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement at a bilateral summit in Kyiv on July 12-13.
