It is quite real to balance the budget of the Pension Fund for seven years if the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the near future adopts bills that allow conducting a pension reform in the state.
First Deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine Oksana Markarova said this at a briefing today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. "If we adopt the reform that the Government has already submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration and asks the MPs to support it, which we developed together with international partners, this will allow us to balance the Pension Fund over a 7 year period. And this will help increase pensions for 9 million pensioners already in October," Markarova said. As Ukrinform reported, on June 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting agreed a package of laws on pension reform and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
