Militants launched 53 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO press center - Ukrinform. The tensest situation was observed in Mariupol direction, where militants used small arms and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired at ATO troops near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), using small arms, grenade launchers and 82mm and 120mm mortars. Ukrainian strongholds near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher and small arms fire. In Luhansk direction, terrorists launched attacks on Ukrainian positions in Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers.
