Energy Minister Nasalyk offers Government to ban thermal coal imports from Russia

Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk says he has submitted for government’s consideration a draft resolution on banning the supplies of Russian thermal coal to Ukraine.
"The Ministry has submitted a draft resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers so that to ban imports of thermal coal from Russia," Nasalyk told reporters before a government’s sitting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
Minister Nasalyk earlier stated that Russia planned to take coal from the occupied territories in Donbas, enrich it in Rostov-on-Don and then sell it to Ukraine as Russian coal.
