Almost 90% of Ukrainians cannot afford medical care
11 of April 2017 г.
Almost 90% of Ukrainians refuse medical care because they cannot afford it.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced this at a press conference on the results of the government activity for the past year, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Ninety percent of Ukrainians refuse medical care because they cannot afford it. We must change this system and introduce the necessary changes and reforms," Groysman said.
The Prime Minister expressed indignation over the fact that people have to restrict themselves in medical services and that the health care system is ineffective. "There is a high mortality rate in Ukraine. Our government is now proposing the reform to get a clear result," the PM added.
