Militants launched 64 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO press center - Ukrinform. In Mariupol direction, the enemy used 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and infantry fighting vehicles to fire at Ukrainian positions in Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under 82mm mortar, grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire outside Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk). In Donetsk direction, militants used 120mm mortars and heavy machine guns to shell Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) came under 82mm mortar, grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire. In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed militants used 82mm mortars to fire at the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
