Mandate of OSCE SMM to Ukraine extended for a year

The mandate of the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to Ukraine has been extended for a year.
An Ukrinform correspondent learnt this from the organization's headquarters.
"The mandate of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine has been extended for one year - until March 31, 2018," the statement reads.
The decision was approved on March 16 by consensus at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
The mission budget was determined in the amount of 105.5 million euros for the period from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
