This was announced by Defense Ministry spokesperson on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports.
"Unfortunately, we sustained losses in combat yesterday. One Ukrainian soldier died, nine fighters were wounded. In addition, eight Ukrainian soldiers were shell-shocked. All the cases occurred in the Svitlodarsk salient," he said.
According to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, 10,000 Ukrainians have been killedand more than 20,000 wounded since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas in 2014. As reported by the U.N., the total death toll of the conflict in Ukraine from mid-April 2014 to Dec.1, 2016 is 9,758, with another 22,779 people wounded.
