PM Groysman promises to find ways to finance Antonov Company
29 of November 2016 г.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says the government will find ways to finance state-run aircraft manufacturer Antonov Company.
He stated this during his today’s visit to Antonov Company, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At present our main task is to develop what we’ve already have. And it is very important for us to find financial support,” Groysman said.
According to him, the company has everything needed to manufacture planes that are in great demand in the world. But at the same time, Groysman noted that for some reasons the development of Antonov Company was suppressed, while other aircraft manufacturing companies, including Russian ones, developed in this segment.
The prime minister also announced that he will hold a special meeting today dedicated to the development of Ukrainian aircraft construction.
