Government liquidates State Penitentiary Service

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Chairman of the State Penitentiary Service Volodymyr Palahniuk.
This has been stipulated in a corresponding Cabinet resolution as of November 23, the government’s press service reports - Ukrinform.
“To dismiss Palahniuk Volodymyr Mykolayovych from the post of chairman of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine because of the liquidation of this service (clause 1 of the first part of Article 87 of the law of Ukraine on the state service),” reads a report.
