IMF representatives held meeting with Economy Minister Kubiv

Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Ukrainian First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 9, the ministry’s press service reports - Ukrinform.
The IMF experts focused on the importance of further reforms in the sphere of tax department and customs, agricultural sector and energy markets. Also, the IMF representatives noted that the Ukrainian government should continue its work on creating better conditions for doing business in the country.
“The sides during the meeting discussed key reforms being carried out in Ukraine and their influence on Ukraine’s international ratings and Ukraine's cooperation with international partners, in particular the International Monetary Fund,” reads the statement.
