Russian-backed militants launched 52 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press cente - Ukrinform. The militants launched 32 attacks on ATO troops in Mariupol direction. The enemy shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), using heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms. Ukrainian positions near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) came under 82mm and 120mm mortar fire. Eight ceasefire violations by militants were recorded in Donetsk direction. Russian-backed militants shelled ATO troops in Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), using small arms, and fired at Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and 82mm mortars. In Luhansk direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions. In particular, the enemy used machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms to shell Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk).
