Russian-backed militants launched 31 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. The militants launched 17 attacks on ATO troops in Mariupol direction. The enemy shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), using 82mm and 120mm mortars. Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) came under small arms, grenade launcher, and machine gun fire. Seven ceasefire violations were recorded in Luhansk direction. The terrorists shelled Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers. Seven more attacks were launched in Donetsk direction. Russian-backed terrorists fired at Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), using 82mm and 120mm mortars, machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms.
