"Fortunately, none of our servicemen was killed in the hostilities over the past day, yet three were wounded," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
All in all, Ukrainian troops stationed in Donbas were shelled 40 times on Monday, the ATO headquarters said.
In particular, 10 instances of the violation of the ceasefire were recorded in the Luhansk sector, 12 in the Donetsk sector, and 18 in the Mariupol sector.
The Russian occupation forces used mainly grenade launchers, machine-guns, and small arms to fire on Ukrainian positions.
In the Donetsk sector they used mortars and an infantry fighting vehicle to attack Ukrainian troops near the village of Zaitseve and Nyzhnie Lozove.
The enemy was most active in the Mariupol sector. Small arm and grenade launchers were used to shell the town of Maryinka, the villages of Starohnativka, Shyrokyne, and Pavlopil.
"What is more, Maryinka was under sniper fire, while an infantry fighting vehicle was used to attack Starohnativka," the ATO HQ said.
