Groysman names priorities for state budget-2017

The priority areas that will be supported by the state budget for next year include defense and security, economic growth, support for farmers, decentralization, implementation of energy saving activities, support for engineering and quality education.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at the government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"In September we have to submit the budget to the Parliament. We want to bring an honest budget with real incomes and a fair distribution of these incomes among Ukrainian citizens. The priorities include defense and security, economic growth, support for farmers, decentralization, implementation of energy saving activities, support for engineering and quality education. We need to increase teachers' salaries and do everything to ensure that the situation begins to change for the better," Groysman said.
He stressed that all of these priorities will be presented in the draft budget for 2017.
