Dekanoidze believes National Police budget will grow to increase policemen wages
4 of August 2016 г.
Head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze hopes the budget for the National Police will be increased to raise wages of policemen, thus giving them proper motivation for work - Interfax.
"The most important task for us and the authorities is to provide normal wages for policemen. I declare that policemen, whose salary is UAH 4,000, of course, cannot properly perform their job," she told journalists in Kyiv during the commemoration of the National Police Day.
"I really hope next year we'll have the budget that will give us a chance to provide a motivational component for the National Police at the highest level," Dekanoidze stressed.
According to her, if there is no proper motivation in the form of wages, the corruption component will not be removed.
