NewsRSSGroysman: Odesa Port-Side Plant's starting price is too high, SPF to do best to re-launch privatization
3 of August 2016 г.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the starting price of Odesa Port-Side Chemical Chemical Plant was set too high. He is confident that Ukraine's State Property Fund (SPF) would make all possible to re-launch the tender to sell the plant - Interfax.
"I think that the most important problem is the price of the enterprise. The Ukrainian appraiser set it. When we came to the government, the appraisal had been approved and we did not have grounds to change it," Groysman said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine. He said that he initially believed that the starting price was high. The prime minister said that the lower starting price is the larger number of bidders will be. Then competition will appear during the auction and the final price will be higher. "Now, taking into account experience of the failed auction I can say that there is interest to the facility. The SPF would make all possible to re-launch the sale of the Odesa plant. I think that we will sell this facility no matter how and who tries to hinder it. Maybe someone does not like it, but this is good for the country's economy," he said. Groysman said that the investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau into corruption among top managers of the plant would not hamper the auction, as it is not related to ownership of the plant. It is the sign of its cleanup. другие новости
