Russian-backed militants launched 44 attacks on ATO troops in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. "In Donetsk area, militants used 120mm mortars, banned under the Minsk agreements, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire at Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk]," the statement reads. In Mariupol area, the enemy used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), tanks to shell Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), and small arms to shell Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).
