 NewsRSSMilitants launch 51 attacks on ATO troops in eastern Ukraine

Russian-backed militants continue to shell positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements.
A total of 51 attacks on Ukrainian troops were recorded in last day, ATO Headquarters press center reports - Ukrinform. "The enemy used heavy machine guns and grenade launchers of various systems to fire at Ukrainian strongholds near Pisky [12km north-west of Donetsk], Berezove [35km south-west of Donetsk], Luhanske [59km north-east of Donetsk], and Troitske [69km west of Luhansk]. Ukrainian servicemen came under mortar fire outside Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk], Opytne [11.5km north-west of Donetsk], Novhorodske [34km north of Donetsk] and Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk]," the report reads. Moreover, terrorists used 82mm and 120mm mortars to fire at Ukrainian strongholds near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).
