Europe plans to resume flights over Crimea

European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has recommended that air carriers consider the resumption of flight operations over the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Co-ordination of such flights will be organized through the services performed by Ukrainian air traffic controllers.
Yevropeyska parvda site reports citing EASA.
"European Aviation Safety Agency said that airlines can consider a possibility of flying over different parts of the Crimean peninsula," the site notes.
According to the site, EASA newsletter provides an opportunity to operate flights in the airspace near Simferopol city on two routes.
The document points out that the coordination of flights through the Crimea will be carried out by the Ukrainian side and airlines can use the information provided by Ukraine to plan their flights.
