Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has ordered the Economy Ministry to enlarge the list Russian goods prohibited from importing to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian prime minister said at a government meeting on Wednesday, January 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I’m ordering the Economy Ministry to review the list of goods that should fall under the countermeasures taken by the Ukrainian side to protect the Ukrainian domestic market from Russia's economic aggression," Yatsenyuk said.
According to him, economic consultations are currently being held with the European partners on the issue of “how to ensure bilateral relations in connection with the fact that Ukraine and the European Union under a free trade area agreement should strictly follow all the rules and requirements of the WTO, including the issue of transit”.
