U.S. will never recognize Russia's attempt to annex Crimea – Biden

U.S. does not recognize and will never recognize the attempts of the Russian Federation to annex Crimea, and will continue to stand together with Ukraine against the Russian aggression, U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden said on Tuesday while addressing the Verkhovna Rada, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

"Today, Russia is occupying sovereign Ukrainian territory. Let me be crystal clear. The United States does not, will not and never will recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea. It's that simple," Biden said.

In addition, Biden said that his country would continue to stand together with Ukraine against the Russian aggression.

"The United States will continue to stand with Ukraine against Russian aggression,” said Biden adding that the U.S. provides support in training and assisting the security forces of Ukraine.
