As reported by Censor.NET, independent MP Dmytro Yarosh announced this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the Right Sector leaders gathered in Kyiv for a conference on Nov. 8. Some of the party leaders, who organized the event, declared their goal had been to develop working materials for an all-Ukrainian party congress and to work out a revolutionary concept of resisting internal and external enemies.
"Instead, the initiators and some participants of the gathering took illegitimate functions upon them: they developed the Right Sector's strategic direction and elected another Leadership, where I was given the role of the Leader," Yarosh wrote.
The Right Sector party head informed that after being wounded and needing to take some time for treatment, he entrusted some management directions within the organization to his closest adherents, who have had their own vision of the nationalist movement development, not always in line with his own stand.
"As a Leader I am personally responsible for all that's happening in the organization, and do not intend to shift it to others. … So I am forced to reject the offer to lead the new Leadership suggested by the gathering, and resign as the party's leader, remaining a nationalist, a statesman, and a revolutionary," Yarosh said.Source:http://en.censor.net.ua/n360206
