Deputy Head of the OSCE mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said at a briefing in Donetsk, Ukrainski Novyny reports.
"We expect that the weapons withdrawal will contribute to strengthening of the cease-fire... We were granted access to holding areas of the "LPR" but have recorded its (the previously withdrawn equipment) absence. The same applies to the "DPR"," he said.
Besides, according to Hug, some weapons were also missing in holding areas of the Ukrainian side.
"In order to facilitate our mission, we are ready to open new patrol bases ... we have opened two ones on the Ukrainian side, and one more in the "LPR"-controlled territory," OSCE mission deputy head said.
According to him, the humanitarian situation in the Donbas keeps raising concerns.
