In coordination with the ATO command, the head and officers of the Ukrainian side at the JCCC held a meeting with the commanders of ATO area units performing tasks in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport, enforcing observation of the Minsk agreements and cease-fire. During the meeting, the participants discussed violations of the truce by certain terrorist groups based in the Donetsk region as well as provocative fire on the Ukrainian army positions in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport, Censor.NETreports citing Defense Ministry press service.

According to the military, militants have recently committed armed provocations, using small arms equipped with silencers. Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups try to get close to Ukrainian army positions and fire at Ukrainian soldiers from the so-called "gray zone." The use of enemy military hardware to provoke ATO fighters has also been recorded in the area.

As reported, the military in ATO area, performing tasks in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport, strictly observe the Minsk agreements and cease-fire. They do not retaliate against militants' provocative fire. The personnel is carrying out engineering works to reinforce the areas of defense, securing approaches to positions and the like.

Maj. Gen. B. Kremenetskyi, the head of the Ukrainian side at the JCCC, met with an OSCE SMM patrol unit to consider a coordinated interaction between the JCCC and the OSCE SMM to monitor the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
