NewsRSSUkrenergo continues electricity supplies to Crimea
12 of October 2015 г.
"As of October 12, power supply to Crimea is carried out through 330 kW Kakhovka-Dzhankoy and 220 kW Kakhovka-Tytan power transmission lines," the report says. "At the moment, power supply to Crimea is at 650 MW, which is 200 MW below the demand," the company said. According to Ukrenergo, a 330 kW Kakhovka-Dzhankoy power transmission line was urgently put into operation due to the repair of Melitopol–Dzhankoy power transmission line because of a damaged power line's tower. "The reconstruction of the line has been suspended. It has been carried out due to construction of a 330 kW Kakhovka switching station, needed to maximize capacity of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant," the report reads. "We understand the civil position of the Crimean Tatar people and all the participants ofCrimea's blockade, but Ukrenergo, as a system operator of the Joint United Energy System of Ukraine, does not accept and cannot take any decisions on the termination of power supply to consumers, which are contrary to the requirements of current legislation and/or contractual terms," the company said. As UNIAN reported earlier, on October 11, Ukraine suspended power supply to Crimea through Melitopol–Dzhankoy power transmission line. другие новости
