This is announced by the Interior Ministry press service, Censor.NET reports.
"According to preliminary information, about 100 police officers have been injured near the Verkhovna Rada, more than 10 being in grave condition," the statement reads.
One law enforcer is reported dead.
As already reported, after the Parliament adopted the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in terms of decentralization of power No. 2217a in the first reading, clashes broke out.
The opponents to the constitutional amendments started to hurl smoke and stun grenades at law enforcers. Someone threw a combat grenade, causing serious injuries to several servicemen.
