This is reported by Censor.NET citing Foreign Ministry's statement.
"Undue judgment based on trumped-up investigation evidence obtained from Ukrainian citizens, including under psychological pressure and physical torture, has finally exposed a political bias of Russia's judicial system," the statement reads.
"Carrying out a political order by the Kremlin, court has completely neglected the law, ignoring in particular evidence of Ukrainian citizens' innocence provided by their defense. This verdict flags Russia's negligence of impartiality in investigation and respect for universal human rights norms," the ministry stated.
The ministry demanded that Russian side "should stop the judicial spectacle destroying human lives for the sake of ambitions of Russian authorities and immediately release Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, as well as all other political hostages."
Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to publicly condemn the decision of the court and step up political and diplomatic pressure on Russia, in order to liberate all Ukrainian citizens held in Russia. "Ukrainian side will spare no effort to free our fellow countrymen - political prisoners in Russia," the statement reads.
As reported before, Russia's court sentenced Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov to 20 years in prison, and Ukrainian activist Oleksandr Kolchenko - to 10 years in prison.Source:http://en.censor.net.ua/n349022
