White House does not confirm information about Obama-Putin meeting

The White House has not confirmed information about a meeting of Putin and Obama that was announced by Moscow earlier. There are no such plans in the near future, and no preparation for such meeting is conducted.
Tass news agency reported.
"There is nothing to announce," the press service of the US National Security Council at the White House said, when asked about a possible meeting of the presidents.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the President of Russia would visit the US to attend a meeting of the UN General Assembly and maybe conduct a bilateral meeting with the President of the United States.
