Kyiv plans to increase tourist flow

The Kyiv City State Administration plans to increase the tourist flow up to three million people under the complex municipal target program of tourism development in Kyiv from 2016 to 2018.
It has been reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
According to the department of economics and investments of the Kyiv City Council, the program will increase the tourist flow into the city up to three million people and their average length of stay in the city until five days.
It will also increase the income from tourist tax to the city budget up to UAH 15 million, as well as attract more domestic and foreign investment into development of the tourism industry and enhance the development of tourism infrastructure.
The main goal of the program is to turn tourism into one of the most profitable sectors of the economy in Kyiv.
