Yanukovych to be given notice of suspicion of treason, organized crime

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin says that Ukraine's Prosecutor General Office (PGO) will soon issue an official notice declaring former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych suspected of high treason and the creation of a criminal group.
"At present, a notice that Yanukovych and other persons are suspected of crimes under Part 1 of Article 255 (the creation of a criminal organization), Article 364 (abuse of power) and Article 111 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been drawn up and is about to be finalized. Yanukovych and his associates will be given the notice of suspicion soon," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
