Ukraine to get $200 mln from US for improving security services

The United States has extended approximately $200 million worth of assistance to Ukraine's security services.
U.S. Ambassador to Kyiv Geoffrey R. Pyatt informed this at a press briefing during a Friday visit to the Yavoriv training range in Ukraine's western Lviv region, Ukrinform reports.
The ambassador said he was speaking about the funding of drills, equipment supplies and medical care.
Pyatt also said that this aid provided by the U.S. was only part of international efforts aimed at helping Ukraine protect its sovereignty.
