The situation with the Right Sector in Zakarpattia region will not have a direct impact on liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and the EU, however, there should be a state monopoly of use of force.

Chair of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee Elmar Brok said this at the briefing in Kyiv on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"It doesn't have a quick effect. I would like to note that the members of our delegation stressed the importance of maintaining strict state monopoly of the use of force, disarmament of all armed formations and their full integration into the official security forces," Brok said.

The EP Chair has confirmed the EU's full support for process of visa liberalization and has expressed hope that visa-free regime will be launched as soon as the necessary requirements are met.
