French Foreign Ministry: We hope conflict in Donbas to be resolved by year-end

France hopes to reach a solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine before the end of this year.
French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said this in Paris on Thursday, when an Ukrinform correspondent asked about the agenda of the Normandy Four meeting that would be held next Tuesday.
"French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Laurent Fabius will meet with German, Ukrainian and Russian colleagues in Paris on June 23 to summarize the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the purpose of which is to resolve the crisis before the end of the year," the diplomat said.
Earlier, it was reported that the Normandy Four meeting aimed to exchange views on the "updated information" on the implementation of "a set of measures agreed in Minsk on February 12."
