EP preparing new strategy of relations with Russia

The European Parliament is preparing a resolution on a new strategy of relations between the EU and Russia, which will become a reaction to the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine. After the adoption of this document, the European Council will review the sanctions and, obviously, will maintain them.
MEP from Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis said this in an interview with DW website, Ukrinform reports.
"It is clear that the geopolitical situation has changed after the Russian aggression began in Ukraine, which forced the EU to look at our relationship in a new way," he said.
The MEP assures that Brussels has enough political will to reconsider the attitude to Russia. That's why the reaction to Russian aggression will be significantly different than in 2008, when Georgia suffered.
