US still discusses possibility of granting lethal weapons to Ukraine

The United States government continues discussing the possibility of granting lethal weapons of a defensive nature to Ukraine.
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said this at the Brookings Institution in Washington on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"There are a lot of talks in Washington whether we need to provide lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine. The discussions still continue," he said.
Nevertheless, he recalls that Ukraine, in addition to weapons, needs military equipment and holding of military exercises.
