Lawyer: Trial of Savchenko may be held in August

Mark Feygin, lawyer of Ukrainian pilot, MP Nadiya Savchenko, has stated that familiarization with the case materials, provided by the investigation, may take about one and a half month, and the trial could be held in August.
This lawyer has said this to Ukrinform.
"Familiarization with 24 volumes, provided by the investigation, will take about one and a half month. Then they will hand out indictment, and the preliminary hearing will be held. So, the trial could take place in August," said Feygin.
Earlier it was reported that the investigation into the case against Savchenko had been completed and the materials had been handed over to the defense for review.
