8 of May 2015 г.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has thanked the presidents who had refused to participate in the Victory parade in Moscow on May 9. He said this during a meeting with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the presidential press service reported. Poroshenko noted that this year Ukraine will join the European tradition of honoring the victims of World War II on May 8 for the first time. "While, the very next day in Moscow, under the pretext of the Great Victory, the aggressor's army will rattle its lethal might in front of the world," Poroshenko said. He expressed gratitude to many of the world leaders for refusing "to participate in this parade of cynicism." As reported, President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that most European leaders have not dared to go to the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9, because they understand what victory Russia may celebrate in the future. другие новости
