Europe must not mark the Victory Day together with Putin in Moscow on May 9. President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite has said this in an interview with PAP news agency, an Ukrinform correspondent reports from Poland. "We are part of free and democratic Europe and we can not surrender to blackmail of the aggressor. We can not agree with incitement to a new war and can not mark the occupation of Ukraine, despite the demonstration of force by the Russian troops, marching in the parade [on May 9]," Grybauskaite said. She has stressed that Europe now faces a new challenge after 70 years of peace and stability, and "the one, who calls himself as the liberator of Europe, has launched a new war against a sovereign state and its good will to make its own decisions about its future." "Today, people are being killed in eastern Ukraine, while the flag of a cynically occupied Crimea will be carried at the parade in Moscow," the president of Lithuania said.
