Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman has said that more than 100 Ukrainian military have been killed, and more than 500 wounded since the ceasefire announcement in Donbas, ZN.UA Ukrainian news website has reported.

"Since the announcement of the ceasefire on February 15, Ukrainian positions have been fired on over 2,500 times. As a result, more than 100 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and more than 500 people injured," Hroisman said.

Also, he accused militants of violating the Minsk agreements and terminating exchange of prisoners.

"The militants prevent the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission from completing the verification of the withdrawal of large-caliber weapons, and they are continuing to use such weapons to attack the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces. Militants did not want to exchange prisoners according to the earlier-agreed 'all for all' principle, and Russia continues to detain a number of Ukrainians who were arrested for political reasons, including Ukrainian MP and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Nadia Savchenko," Hroisman said.

As reported, about 300 Ukrainian servicemen are held captive by militants.
