"Just a few moments ago the infamous journalist Oles Buzyna was shot dead from a navy-colored Ford Focus at 58 Dehtiarivska St. in Kyiv." This was announced by Interior Minister adviser Anton Herashchenko on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"The car's plates were Latvian or Belorussian, but not Ukrainian for sure. We call to all Kyiv drivers - if you see a car with similar details, please call the police. Looks like anti-Maidan case witnesses are being continuously shot. We ask all those related to organization or financing of anti-Maidan or other illegal actions against Maidan, and who feel threat to their lives to appeal to the police in order not to follow Kalashnykov and Buzyna," Herashchenko wrote.

Head of Kyiv city police Oleksandr Tereshchuk reported at the scene, Segodnia reports.
"Presumably, a 7.62 caliber TT pistol was used. The victim was shot in the head and the body. There are 5 witnesses," he said. Special operation to intercept the vehicle from which Buzyna was shot is carried out in Kyiv.
A few minutes after Buzyna was reported murdered, Russian President Vladimir Putin's was hit by the question on his opinion to this during live question and answer session on Russian TV channels. Putin answered that this is not the first political assassination in Ukraine and all of them, in his opinion, are not investigated. Petro Poroshenko has already stated that he demands prompt and transparent investigation of the high profile killings of Kalashnikov and Buzyna.
