Rada allowes an access to public information

he Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on access to public information in the form of open data.
279 MPs voted for the draft law, Ukrinform reports.
The law, in particular, stipulates that public information should be provided in the form of open data upon request, should be published and regularly updated on a single state web portal of the open data and on the relevant websites. Public information in the form of open data is allowed for further free use and distribution.
The list of data sets to be made public in the form of open data, the format and structure requirements and the frequency of updates are to be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
